PRESS RELEASE

State Securities supports its Asset Based Lending growth ambitions with New Business Development appointment

Key points:

  • Relationships with intermediaries will be developed further to promote the full compliment of State Securities ABL services
  • Appointment will provide dedicated support for the anticipated growth in new business levels

Friday 4th April 2008 - One of the UK’s leading asset funders, State Securities, has increased its potential to develop a ‘one stop shop’ approach to Asset Based Lending (ABL) with the appointment of Leigh Wiltshire in a New Business Development role, from 1st May 2008.

Leigh has been with the company for nearly two years and has built up a wealth of experience within its Accounts Department.

His new role will involve developing relationships with existing and new intermediaries to promote the full compliment of State Securities ABL services, including Asset Finance and Refinance, Commercial Mortgages, Bridging Finance for asset purchases, Factoring, Small Firms Loan Guarantee and Turnaround Finance. These dedicated services are of most benefit to UK SME’s who face challenging business circumstances.

Leigh said, “State Securities offers a range of ‘one stop shop’ asset finance solutions to clients that are tailor-made to cater for the demands of individual business requirements. I will be promoting these packages to intermediaries, initially on the South Coast of England.  I am looking forward to meeting the intermediaries face-to-face and the challenge of meeting the expectations of them - and their clients - in an increasingly demanding and competitive environment.”

On his appointment, Sales Director Andrew Bullard commented, “The appointment of Leigh in a New Business Development role, working alongside the Sales team, will serve to support the anticipated growth in our new business levels and will provide our intermediaries with the ability to deliver an all-round ABL service to their clients”.

Leigh Wiltshire can be contacted on tel 01489 775670 or email lwiltshire@statesecurities.plc.uk
