State Securities supports children’s cancer charity Valentine Ball 2008

Wednesday, 16 January 2008 : Leading asset funder State Securities is proud to be a sponsor of the UK’s largest Children’s Cancer Charity, CLIC Sargent, Valentine Ball on Saturday 16th February, 2008 at the Bothwell Bridge Hotel, Glasgow.

Over 250 guests will attend the event, hosted by Scottish comedian, TV and radio broadcaster Andy Cameron. This annual ball raises much needed funds for the Malcolm Sargent House in Prestwick where children with cancer are able to go on holiday with their family and share precious time together and forget about the stress of coping with cancer. Over £500,000 is needed for the running costs of the house in 2008, to provide holidays for 500 families.

State Securities is supporting this worthwhile cause as it is close to one of their key finance introducers hearts, Alison Donnell at Asset and General.  Dave Williams, Senior Account Manager at State Securities Glasgow office said, “We’re delighted to sponsor local charitable events such as this, especially where our finance introducers are involved.
